This year, Kempro's studio is celebrating its 30th anniversary (and the gallery's 22nd anniversary), and we will, of course, celebrate this summer! It will not only be our party but also yours. We are organizing various activities around our anniversary because we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved, shown, and what we will continue to do in these 30 years.
One of the gifts Kempro gave was to its colleagues within Kempenhaeghe. Regularly, Kempro employees meet colleagues within Kempenhaeghe who also (semi-)professionally paint, sculpt, photograph, work with ceramics, write, act, or practice another art form. Kempro issued a call to invite these colleagues for an exhibition, providing a platform for everyone within Kempenhaeghe who is creative in their way.
Nine colleagues took up the challenge: Anita van de Manakker (photos), Antwan van Ooijen (paintings), Dorrie van Geffen (paintings), Helga van den Broek (sculptures), Léan Heutz (book & illustrations), Lisette Dekker (sculptures), Maria Stienstra (paintings), Marianne Verstappen (paintings), and Mathieu Peeters (objects). This exhibition will festively open on Thursday, August 15 at 2:00 PM. You are cordially invited to attend. Enjoy a drink while admiring the artworks, and you can talk to the artists in this exhibition about techniques and inspiration. This exhibition will run until Sunday, September 15.
