On Thursday 6 March, Cor Speek, amateur filmmaker from Geldrop, will screen his latest film ‘Natuurlijk Brabant’. In it, he shows Brabant at its most beautiful with a great diversity of natural areas. The evening is at ‘t Perron in Heeze and is organised by Vrienden van de Bieb, IVN Heeze-Leende and library Dommeldal. It starts at 8pm. There is no one who can depict this nature as strikingly as Cor Speek. For his latest film, he filmed in 17 areas, including in the Herbertusbossen, on the Strabrechtse heath, near Gijzenrooi, near Valkenhorst and in the Brabantse Peel. Other areas in central and southeast Brabant also pass by. These are pieces of Brabant where you can still enjoy all the beauty that nature, landscape and heritage have to offer in peace and quiet. Cor made a one-hour film of this, which will be shown before the break. After the break, he will show footage of the Kleine Dommel stream valley between Heeze and Geldrop, with the castle, the Freulelaantje, etc. He will also show a lot of footage of the Rielloop in Heeze. The stream valley of the Rielloop in Heeze has been redesigned and is now a paradise for all kinds of flowers and insects. But it is also an area for cranes, beavers, roe deer and badgers.
