The Brabantsedag is a household name and is not called the biggest theatre parade of the year for nothing.
But there is also a children's version, the Children's Parade takes place a week before the Brabantsedag.
In the large construction tents, people tinker with floats, make-up, clothing and games. The children are also active in the tents. Indeed, 22 August 2026, they have the lead role in the Children's Parade of the Brabantsedag.
Although many children also participate in the Brabantsedag on Sunday 31 August, for several years there has also been a Children's Parade. Children are allowed to design, build and guide their own float along the route. The 2025 edition will take place on Saturday 23 August 2025 and will start at 19:00
TIMES
From 6.15pm, the children start setting up their floats, on the car park of Het Tovernest. At 19.00, the Children's Parade will officially start. Will you come and encourage the participants?
