The foyer of ‘t Perron will once again be transformed into a vibrant music cafe. And we will do so with the swinging band GET BACK 2. A performance by Get Back 2 is an encounter with four passionate musicians. With playful ease, they relive the music of the sixties and seventies. Effortlessly, solid rock songs are alternated with ear-pleasing ballads, and with small excursions to recent evergreens.
No performance is predictable, except for the musical quality and enjoyment of the musicians and their audience. Get Back 2 plays a quirky repertoire that invites you to listen and entices you to dance. And the classics all pass by: from Beatles to Zeppelin. Sometimes boldly adapted, but mostly surprisingly close to the original.
If you don't know any better, an evening of Get Back 2 will show you that Janis Joplin, John Bonham, John Entwisle and Jimi Hendrix are still with us. Still not convinced?
