With this lecture with violence against women as its subject, Marja de Louw offers valuable insights for women who want to know more about the legal and emotional support for vice cases and violence. Free education with a focus on victims.

Orange the World is the global campaign against violence against women and girls. The campaign takes place every year from 25 November, the International Day against Violence against Women, to 10 December, International Human Rights Day. The days in between are the 16 Days of Action.

On Monday evening, 2 December, Marja de Louw will deliver a lecture on the theme ‘violence against women, education with a focus on the victims’.

It will address the complexity of vice cases, the challenges around evidence and the procedures that follow when reports are made. It also focuses on the challenges and impact on victims. And on the differences in approach between police and social services, and the specific problems of child sex offences.
