Farm Saanenhof is known for its regional product: the organic Heezer Goat Cheese. The family farm is located on the Strabrechtse Heide and the hiking area the Herbertusbossen. Around Castle Heeze and the pasture corridors, where the goats and lambs walk, it is a lovely place to be! Over 600 goats are milked in a rotary carousel and a wide range of artisanal cheese is produced in the cheese dairy. There is an organic farm store where you will find the farmer's wife herself. There are opportunities for excursions and trips with cheese tastings. Children's activities include: petting goats and lambs, eating cheese in the farm store, viewing cheese making. Our opening hours are Wed through Fri from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
