The Guitenroute of 45 km passes, among others, the Strabrechtse Heide. The Heidehoeveroute of 51 km goes through the Leenderbos. You can also opt for Theme Happen: a 35 km cycling tour about the myths and legends on the Strabrecht heath.

Stop by the neighborhood farm Kloostervelden
In the middle of the Kloostervelden neighborhood is a monumental farm managed by farmer Bart together with his colleagues and clients of Kempenhaeghe. Feel free to drop by to experience the unspoiled picturesque farm life.

Wol en weverij arrangement
Tijdens dit arrangement ontdekt u tijdens een dagvullend programma de omgeving van de Strabrechtse Heide. De uitgebreide belevingstocht start bij kaffee Peijenburg te Geldrop met koffie of thee en een plateau met specialiteiten van echte Geldropse Peijnenburg Koek.
Hierna fiets of rijdt u richting de Strabrechtse Heide en gaat u opzoek naar de schaapskudde van Stichting het Kempisch Heideschaap en krijgt u een demonstratie schapen drijven. Na een heerlijke kop soep bij Heidecafé de Strabrechtse Heide, vervolgt het pad richting het Keelven te Someren. Hier wordt een heerlijk lunchgerecht gepresenteerd. Na een mooie route keert u terug naar Geldrop voor een rondleiding door het weverijmuseum en geeft in interessant overzicht van de ontwikkelingen van de weeftechnieken de laatste 100 jaar.

Wool felting on the Strabrechtse Heide
Creative activity for schools and day-care centers on the Strabrechtse Heide. The children get to work with wool from Kempen heath sheep to make crafts. With soap, water and wool in a variety of colors, the class can conjure up a work of art from wool in an hour.

Kempenhaeghe's day care group who work in the Brothers' cooking studio on Mondays and Thursdays are known as the Cooking Stars. They make the most delicious sausage rolls, quiche, brownie, pies and much more. Come take a look and taste from these stars or take away for later is of course always possible.
