State Forestry Administration manages the green heritage of the Netherlands: 270,000 ha of nature that we protect, that you can experience and that we use sustainably together with and for others. Leende has the Leenderbos; Heeze has the Strabrechtse Heide. Together two immense nature reserves to roam around endlessly.

The Leenderbos is about 2400 hectares and consists largely of conifers, heathland, fens, drifting sand, winding paths and stream valleys. The Strabrechtse Heide, with 1850 hectares, is the largest contiguous heathland area in North Brabant. A vast plain of heather, juniper berries and fens.
