Contribute to the nature at Schoorsveld

Somerenseweg 116 5591 TN Heeze

At Schoorsveld Nature Cemetery, we are restoring the original nature, reflecting the natural environment of the region, such as the Strabrecht Heath and the area around the Sterkselse Aa. This allows the cultural-historical landscape of Schoorsveld to flourish once again. This piece of Brabant nature has become a cherished place for many, a nature reserve that is home to many animals and plants, allowing nature the space to develop further.

Working Together
During the Nature Work Day, we would love for you to roll up your sleeves and join us. Everyone is welcome to come and help, and we would be delighted to have you! We will welcome you in the morning with coffee and tea. The nature manager will explain what nature management entails at Schoorsveld, and then we will work together in the natural environment. Tasks will range from light work (such as pruning and raking cuttings), medium work (like removing birch saplings with a hand saw), to heavier work (such as moving logs).

The nature managers will guide you into the area to work in groups. All necessary tools will be provided. If you have your own work gloves, feel free to bring them along.
In between tasks, we will, of course, provide a cup of coffee or tea. At the end of the morning, after all the hard work, we will conclude with a communal lunch. There will also be plenty of opportunities for meetings and sharing stories.
