Recreatief Heeze-Leende is an association with the aim of promoting tourism in Heeze, Leende, Sterksel and Leenderstrijp. Growth of residential recreation and growth in spending by day tourists (day visitors) at restaurants and retailers are central to this. The association acts as a booster and mediator, encourages entrepreneurs to cooperate with each other and maintains close contact with the municipality.

Recreatief Heeze-Leende, formed by volunteers, wants to give an impulse to the economic activity and employment of the municipality of Heeze-Leende.

Meet the municipality of Heeze-Leende

On January 1, 1997, the villages Heeze, Leende and Sterksel together became the municipality of Heeze-Leende. Because the characteristic features of each village have been preserved, the municipality is a unique place to live, work and stay. Its nature extends to the Belgian border and includes the beautiful natural areas the Strabrechtse Heide, the Herbertusbossen, the Pan, the Leenderbos and the Groote Heide. Heeze-Leende is a true paradise for every nature lover!
